2025 China Open sets attendance, revenue records

The 2025 China Open concluded October 5 after a record-breaking three-week run as Asia’s first three-week international tennis event. The tournament attracted 360,000 visitors, up 20% YoY, with 180,000 from outside Beijing. September 27 set a single-day record with 45,000 attendees. Ticket revenue reached 88 million RMB ($12.1 million), up 10%, while merchandise sales hit 12.5 million RMB ($1.7 million), 1.6 times last year’s figure. The surrounding Olympic Sports Business District saw nearly 19% growth in daily spending during the event.
