Shein will open its first permanent physical stores in France this November, starting with a flagship inside Paris’ BHV Marais department store. Five additional shops will follow in Galeries Lafayette locations in Dijon, Reims, Grenoble, Angers, and Limoges. The rollout is part of a partnership with retail property group Société des Grands Magasins. Shein pledged to create 200 jobs in France. The expansion marks a new phase for the Singapore-based company, which built a $23 billion business through e-commerce.
