BYD appointed four executives to its German subsidiary and plans to expand its local sales network to strengthen its European position. Fabian Ulbrich, formerly of BMW and Tesla, joins as product director. Christian Lochner becomes key account manager, Felix Böhrer was named operations director, and Birk Pfennig is head of retail sales. BYD plans to grow its sales and service outlets from 120 to 300 locations. The company currently offers 13 models in Europe.
