Silvia Venturini Fendi exits creative role at Fendi
Silvia Venturini Fendi is stepping down from her creative leadership role at Fendi, the Italian fashion house owned by LVMH, and will become honorary president, the group announced Monday. LVMH said a new creative direction will be unveiled “in due time.” The move ends more than three decades of Venturini Fendi’s design role at the brand, where she worked alongside Karl Lagerfeld from the early 1990s, shaping accessories, menswear, and later womenswear. Her departure marks the exit of the last third-generation family member from Fendi’s creative helm, as luxury houses undergo leadership changes amid a prolonged sales slowdown.
