L’Oréal announced a sweeping executive shake-up on September 24, marking one of the biggest management changes in the beauty sector this year. Effective January 1, 2026, the reorganization includes six senior roles, all filled through internal promotions. The group created a new L’Oréal USA Chairman role for David Greenberg, while Alexis Perakis-Valat becomes CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of North America. Eva Yu is promoted to head Travel Retail, signaling sharper focus on Asia-Pacific duty-free. The changes come as L’Oréal’s growth slows: H1 2025 sales rose to 22.47 billion euros ($24.4 billion), with North America flat and North Asia declining.
