JW Anderson launches Wedgwood ceramics collaboration

JW Anderson launched a collection with British ceramics house Wedgwood and the Lucie Rie Foundation. The series features a teacup and saucer originally designed by ceramicist Lucie Rie for Wedgwood in 1964 but never produced. Crafted by Wedgwood artisans, the pieces feature signature Jasperware Blue with embossed detailing. The collection includes mugs inspired by an ancient Greek ceramic cup from creative director Jonathan Anderson’s private archive. Proceeds support the newly established Lucie Rie and Hans Coper Foundation, funding archiving, digitization, and academic research projects. The collection will be available in China, Japan, the U.S., and Europe.
