Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has appointed Chinese snooker player Zhao Xintong as its newest brand friend. Zhao, 28, made history in May 2025 when he won the World Snooker Championship at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre as a wildcard entry, becoming the first Asian player and first Chinese athlete to lift the title. He’s also the first post-1990s player to win two “Triple Crown” events, having previously claimed the U.K. Championship in 2021 and German Masters in 2022. Starting snooker at age eight, Zhao rose to prominence for his composure, precision, and creativity.
