French jeweler Messika appointed Chinese actor Ma Boquan as its newest brand friend on September 4. The announcement coincided with the company’s 20th anniversary and Ma approaching his 20th birthday. Ma is part of a new generation of Chinese actors, known for roles in The Sword and the Brocade, and Minning Town. He has 1.84 million Weibo followers.
