Lululemon names 1st AI and tech chief

Canadian athleisure brand Lululemon has named Ranju Das as its first Chief Artificial Intelligence and Technology Officer, effective September 2. He will oversee the company’s technology organization and lead development of its AI and technology strategy. Das brings over 20 years of leadership experience, having driven AI-first innovation across healthcare, fintech, and consumer technology sectors. CEO Calvin McDonald said the appointment will accelerate product innovation, improve agility and speed to market, and enhance personalized customer experiences. Chief Information Officer Julie Averill will step down in September.
