Rolex will return as a partner of the 9th Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival in 2025. The watchmaker continues sponsoring the festival’s Master Class dialogue series, bringing leading filmmakers and industry professionals together to share insights with young filmmakers and audiences. Since its founding in 2017 by Chinese director Jia Zhangke, the festival has been held annually in historic Pingyao, known for its 2,800-year history. Structured around four pillars — screenings, industry, academia, and education — the festival highlights global cinema while focusing on emerging directors from developing countries. The 9th edition will provide a platform for new voices in world cinema.
