Ralph Lauren debuts 1st animated Polo Bear short film
U.S. fashion brand Ralph Lauren has launched its first animated short film, Polo Bear Chronicles: Operation Black Tie, on YouTube. Produced by the company’s in-house creative team, the film follows the brand’s Polo Bear mascot as it attempts to recover stolen artwork. The production marks the first time Ralph Lauren has brought the character to life in animated format. The Polo Bear has been a recurring motif since 1991, when it debuted on apparel after company executive Jerry Lauren received a plush bear dressed in his style.
