Chow Tai Fook Jewellery has appointed Belinda Wong, former chairwoman and CEO of Starbucks China, as an independent non-executive director effective September 1, 2025. She will also serve on the company’s Audit Committee and Sustainability Committee, with an annual director's fee of HK$795,000 ($101,800). Wong, 54, joined Starbucks in 2000 and led its China operations from 2011 until January 2025. Under her leadership, the company’s retail network in China expanded more than fifteenfold, reaching over 7,500 company-owned stores across 1,000 cities nationwide.
