Maogeping forecasts 30% H1 revenue growth
Chinese high-end beauty brand Maogeping forecast H1 2025 revenue of 2.57 billion–2.6 billion RMB ($354 million–$358 million), up over 30% YoY, with net profit rising 35%-37% to 665 million–675 million RMB ($91.6 million–$93 million). Based on last year’s revenue split, full-year sales could surpass 5 billion RMB ($689 million) for the first time. Listed in December 2024, Maogeping’s market cap has climbed from HK$14.26 billion ($1.83 billion) to HK$48.28 billion ($6.19 billion), second in China’s cosmetics sector after Giant Biogene. Competition is intensifying as luxury houses like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, and Celine move into beauty.
