US footwear group Caleres buys Stuart Weitzman for $109M

U.S. footwear group Caleres has completed its acquisition of luxury shoe brand Stuart Weitzman from Tapestry for $108.7 million. Alongside the announcement, Caleres named Jonathan Lelonek as the new president of Stuart Weitzman. Lelonek has been with the brand since 2012, most recently serving as SVP of Global Wholesale. He brings experience from previous leadership roles at Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Paul Frank. The remainder of 2025 will focus on brand integration and synergy-building to reignite growth.
