U.S. designer label Thom Browne is set to undergo a leadership transition as CEO Rodrigo Bazan will step down at the end of August to pursue other opportunities. He will be succeeded by Sam Lobban, currently Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for Apparel and Designer at Nordstrom. Bazan joined Thom Browne in 2016 and has overseen significant transformation, including its acquisition by the Ermenegildo Zegna Group in 2018. However, the brand has recently faced headwinds, including weakening demand in the Chinese market. As a result, Thom Browne’s revenue declined by 18.9% YoY in Q1 2025 to 64.2 million euros ($73.2 million).
