Burberry, Donghua University launch Qixi collection
Burberry has announced an expanded collaboration with Donghua University, timed with the launch of its 2025 Qixi Festival collection. The partnership involved students and faculty co-developing limited-edition designs inspired by traditional Chinese cultural elements, such as the lunar Year of the Snake and the decorative art of Chinese knots. The collection uses the motif of “knots” to symbolize connection, protection, and continuity, reflecting both the festive spirit and Burberry’s commitment to integrating education with industry.
