Tissot has named actress-singer Esther Yu as its latest brand ambassador in China. The partnership debuts alongside the brand’s new “Little Mermaid” Hearts garnet-red edition watch, a design inspired by a 1975 Tissot model. The watch features a 21.8 mm rectangular case, faceted sapphire-like edges, a hexagonal crown, and 5-bar water resistance. Tissot said the piece brings a vintage silhouette into its contemporary lineup. Yu, who rose to wider prominence via variety show Youth With You 2 and later roles in TV series Love Between Fairy and Devil and My Journey to You, has 29.193 million followers on Weibo.
