Bottega Veneta has announced Chinese swimmer Pan Zhanle as its newest brand ambassador. The 20-year-old athlete is the current world record holder in the men’s 100m freestyle and recently won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics, clocking 46.40 seconds and breaking his own world record. Pan made history in 2023 by becoming the first swimmer to complete the 50m freestyle in under 22 seconds, the 100m in under 47 seconds, and the 200m in under 1 minute and 45 seconds. Born in 2004 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, Pan is widely recognized as a rising star in international swimming.
