Chinese embroiderer among LVMH award finalists
LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has unveiled the nine finalists for the third edition of its Maestri d’Eccellenza (Masters of Excellence) award, selected from over 350 global applicants. Among them is Chinese embroidery designer Youlin Li, who works in Milan. The award, organized in collaboration with the Italian Confederation of Craft Trades, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, and Maison Thélios, honors professionals and emerging talents who demonstrate excellence in craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and innovation. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Milan in September 2025. Li, a graduate of Nanjing Institute of Technology, specializes in French embroidery techniques and received formal training at École Lesage in Paris.
