AliExpress surpasses 9 million users in South Korea
As the summer holiday season and off-peak period set in, major South Korean e-commerce platforms such as Coupang, 11St, Naver, and Temu experienced a decline in user numbers in June. In contrast, Alibaba’s AliExpress bucked the trend, surpassing 9 million active users in South Korea. In the same month, AliExpress Korea launched a new travel channel, “AliExpress Travel,” offering 24/7 Korean-language customer support. The service allows users to book over 1.5 million hotels, 25,000 direct flights, and tickets to more than 8,000 attractions and theme parks worldwide.
