AliExpress launches Labubu products for 618

AliExpress announced yesterday that it will launch a series of limited-edition Labubu products during its overseas 618 shopping festival, including blind box plush toys and keychains. The platform has also brought international influencers to Beijing for a dedicated livestream event in collaboration with Chinese toy brand Pop Mart International Group. Pop Mart joined AliExpress in 2020. Since Labubu’s rise as a global pop culture phenomenon, sales at Pop Mart’s AliExpress flagship store have surged, with “Labubu” topping the platform’s search rankings and GMV in the designer toy category jumping 300% YoY.
