Kering and the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival co-hosted the first-ever Women in Motion Talk in China on June 15 under the theme “In Her Flow,” spotlighting female creativity and growth in cinema. The event featured speakers such as Indian director Kiran Rao, Chinese actress-producer Liang Jing, voice artist Lyu Yanting, and Brazilian actress-producer Luiza Mariani. Launched at Cannes in 2015, Kering’s Women in Motion initiative marks its 10th anniversary this year. To celebrate, Kering and SIFF also introduced a special screening program showcasing six female-directed or female-centered films from around the world.
