Lifestyle platform Xiaohongshu (also known as RedNote) has emerged as a key hub for health-conscious content. Between January and mid-May 2025, users generated millions of posts on weight management, with billions of engagements. Top topics included fitness and weight loss (33%), health and wellness (16%), and food and beverages (14%). Four major trends are driving content growth: “eat” (diet plans like the NHC menu, up 394%), “play” (gamified challenges with rewards), “care” (gentler wellness methods), and “move” (quick daily exercises).
