Chanel has officially appointed Ruth Warder as its new Global Chief Communications Officer, effective September 2025. She will join the brand’s global leadership team and report directly to CEO Leena Nair. Warder previously served as CEO of Edelman UK and Ireland and Chair of Brand for EMEA. Chanel stated that she will be responsible for building a more unified and forward-looking global reputation strategy. The appointment comes as Chanel enters a new creative phase under Creative Director Matthieu Blazy, and follows the brand’s 4.3% revenue decline in FY2024 to $18.7 billion.
