Adidas opens sustainable store in Shanghai
Adidas has integrated sustainability into its Originals store on Tianlin Road in Shanghai. The initiative, launched June 5, explores eco-conscious practices — from sustainable products and recycling programs to energy-saving technologies — aiming to engage consumers and promote circular consumption. Located in China’s first city to implement “zero-waste city” regulation, the store features fixtures such as clothing racks, mannequins, and checkout counters made from reused materials. Recycled textiles have been transformed into fitting room curtains, shoe-trying benches, and eco-friendly shopping bags.
