Vietnamese authorities seized thousands of fake products, including imitation Rolex watches and Prada handbags, during a raid at Saigon Square shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh City. The crackdown comes as Vietnam intensifies its fight against counterfeits and digital piracy after the U.S. accused the country of being a major hub for illegal activities and threatened crippling tariffs. Items seized included alleged fake products from Longines, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Hermès. The mall was listed on the U.S. Trade Representative’s “notorious markets for counterfeiting” report in January.
