Tiffany & Co announced Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi as its new global brand ambassador yesterday. Known for her versatility and portrayals of strong, independent women, Zhang rose to fame with Zhang Yimou’s The Road Home (1999) and gained international recognition through Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). Her subsequent roles in Hero (2002), House of Flying Daggers (2004), and The Grandmaster (2013) further cemented her global status.
