Steve Madden forms JV for 3rd China market entry

U.S. footwear brand Steve Madden has announced the formation of a joint venture with Hong Kong-based brand management company Glamear Trading Ltd to expand its presence in mainland China. This marks the company’s third attempt to establish a long-term retail business in the country. The partnership will include both the Steve Madden brand and Dolce Vita, which it acquired in 2014. Under the agreement, Glamear will oversee the brand’s retail development and e-commerce strategy in China.
