Gucci to debut 2026 cruise collection in Florence archive

Gucci has announced it will debut its 2026 early spring cruise collection on May 15 at the Palazzo Settimanni, the brand’s archive located in Florence. The archive, situated in the artisanal Oltrarno district, has been in use since 2021 and was first acquired by Gucci in 1953. CEO Stefano Cantino described the return to Florence as both a tribute to heritage and a statement of future direction. The upcoming collection will be designed by Gucci’s in-house team, with Demna set to take the creative helm after completing Balenciaga’s haute couture collection in July.
