OTB plans 9% US price hikes to offset tariffs’ impact
Italian fashion group OTB, which owns brands such as Diesel, Jil Sander, and Maison Margiela, said on Monday it plans to join other luxury brands in raising prices in the U.S. market. The group is currently assessing the impact of trade tariffs on its operations. Based on internal simulations, OTB stated that it would need to increase prices in the U.S. by 8% to 9% to offset the effect of tariffs on profitability.
