Hong Kong expects 840,000 mainland visitors during Labor Day holiday

Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan stated in a blog post on April 27 that the city is preparing to welcome around 840,000 visitor arrivals from Mainland China during the upcoming Labor Day Golden Week holiday. Chan noted that the expected number represents an increase of about 10% compared to last year’s Labor Day period and around 13% compared to this year’s Chinese New Year holiday.
