Beauty boosts Unilever, but China revenue dips
Unilever reported first-quarter 2025 revenue of 14.8 billion euros ($15.8 billion), down 0.9% YoY. However, underlying sales rose 3.0%, with volume up 1.3%. Beauty & Wellbeing performed strongly with revenue of 3.3 billion euros ($3.53 billion), up 2.9%. In China, Unilever posted a high single-digit sales decline, with brands like Clear and Lifebuoy under pressure.
