On World Earth Day, sportswear brand Descente unveiled its new sustainability initiative, Design that Sustain, and introduced a clothing recycling program called “Re:Descente." The program is being piloted in six major cities, including — Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu. Collected garments will be sorted based on material and condition, with some items recycled into polyester yarn for future use.
