Van Cleef & Arpels brings floral art to Shanghai streets
Van Cleef & Arpels has collaborated once again with French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet to present a limited-time public art installation on Shanghai’s Nanjing West Road. Titled “Spring Promenade,” the project transforms a section of the street into an open-air garden walk from March 20 (Spring Equinox) to May 5 (start of summer), offering a space for pedestrians to pause and reflect amid floral-themed artworks. First launched in 2014, the maison’s spring initiative continues this year with a series of colorful installations, including depictions of gardens and gazebos. A small reading area is also set up along the path, inviting visitors to explore nature-themed literature. In parallel, Van Cleef & Arpels has introduced new additions to its Lucky Spring jewelry collection, drawing on motifs such as ladybugs, flowers, and leaves to evoke seasonal vitality. The pieces combine red and gold tones in a tribute to the natural world.
