Blancpain literary prize opens submissions
The 8th Blancpain-Imaginist Literary Prize is now open for submissions until May 15. Publishers, publishing houses, and authors may submit works for consideration. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony in October and will receive 300,000 RMB ($41,500) in writing support. Four additional shortlisted authors will each receive the Blancpain Youth Fellowship Award, a certificate of recognition, and a 20,000 RMB ($2,800) honorarium. The theme for the 2025 prize is “Time Always Bifurcates.” This year’s jury includes literary critic Huang Ziping, Malaysian writer Li Zishu, Documentary director Lu Qingyi, literary critic Shi Zhanjun, and Chinese writer Sun Ganlu.
