Penhaligon’s debuts global exhibition in Shanghai
British fragrance house Penhaligon’s has launched its first-ever global exhibition, “Scented Tales of Britain,” at the historic Hotung Residence in Shanghai. Open from March 28 to April 6, the exhibition showcases 30 archival pieces, including early perfume bottles and signature designs tracing the brand’s evolution since 1870. The show features a shadow play installation by Chinese artist He Xian, inspired by Penhaligon’s debut scent Hammam Bouquet, combining traditional Chinese puppetry with the brand’s founding story.
