Maison Margiela and Christian Louboutin have launched their first joint footwear collection, featuring two sub-lines with seven designs. The Maison Margiela by Christian Louboutin series reimagines the Tabi split-toe shoe with Louboutin’s red sole and a heart-shaped toe design. The Christian Louboutin by Maison Margiela series applies Maison Margiela’s “decortiqué” technique, exposing the shoe’s internal structure. The collection debuted in January 2024 as part of Maison Margiela’s Artisanal Haute Couture line and became available in select stores and online on March 12.
