Yangwang, the ultra-luxury sub-brand of Build Your Dreams (BYD), has announced that its new U7 luxury sedan will officially launch on March 27 in Shenzhen, where BYD’s global headquarters is located. The U7, first unveiled in January last year, is positioned as Yangwang’s flagship new energy sedan, priced at approximately 1 million RMB ($138,000). The model will be available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants. The BEV version features a 135.5 kWh battery pack with a CLTC range of 720km.
