Prada is nearing a deal to acquire Versace from Capri Holdings for nearly 1.5 billion euros ($1.6 billion), according to Bloomberg News. The transaction could be finalized this month. Talks have progressed after initial due diligence showed no risks, but discussions could still fall apart. Capri, which also owns Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors, purchased Versace in 2018 for 1.83 billion euros ($2 billion), including debt. Both companies declined to comment.
