Macau welcomed 239,000 tour group visitors in January 2025, marking a 79.2% YoY increase, according to the Statistics and Census Service. The hotel sector provided 43,000 rooms, with a 89.8% occupancy rate, up 3.9 percentage points. Mainland China accounted for 217,000 group visitors, a rise of 88.4%, while international group arrivals grew by 3%, led by a 27.3% increase from South Korea.
