OTB Group revenue drops 4.4% amid industry slowdown
OTB Group yesterday released its 2024 annual performance report. For the 2024 fiscal year, the group’s total revenue dropped by 4.4% YoY to 1.8 billion euros ($1.93 billion), and overall sales fell by 3.1% to 1.7 billion euros ($1.82 billion). Operating profit was 44 million euros ($47 million), showing a significant decline from 140 million euros ($150 million) in 2023. OTB Group owns brands like Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, and Diesel, and during the reporting period, the group opened 61 new stores. Sales of Maison Margiela and Diesel increased by 4.6% and 3.2%, respectively. Regionally, Japan and North America drove the group's growth, with sales rising by 16.3% and 13.3%, respectively. According to the financial report, growth in these two regions offset the decline in the Chinese market.
