Jil Sander rumored close to naming Daniel Lee as new creative director
Italian luxury brand Jil Sander is reportedly set to welcome a new creative director, with current Burberry creative director Daniel Lee expected to take over. If confirmed, this would mean that the current creative director couple, Luke and Lucie Meier, will end their tenure at Jil Sander after February’s Milan Fashion Week, with an official announcement expected by the end of February. Daniel Lee has been the creative director at Burberry since 2022, but his departure rumors have gained traction due to the brand’s sales decline and the appointment of a new CEO. Prior to Burberry, Lee worked at Bottega Veneta, where his redesign of the brand’s iconic Intreccio woven leather helped revitalize the brand and earned widespread acclaim.
