Kenzo plans independent womenswear show for FW25

Kenzo has appointed British designer Joshua A. Bullen as Head of Design, where he will work closely with Creative Director Nigo. Bullen, who has held key design roles at Givenchy and Stone Island, brings a wealth of experience in menswear. The brand also revealed plans to stage an independent womenswear show for Fall/Winter 2025-26 during Paris Fashion Week, marking a shift from its previous joint presentations. This move aims to emphasize the new direction of the womenswear collection. Kenzo explained that it builds upon the strong foundation Nigo has established for menswear over the past three years, while infusing a fresh, modern perspective into womenswear. Although Nigo has successfully blended Japanese influences, British tailoring, and street style into the menswear line, a breakthrough in womenswear has yet to be realized. With Bullen at the helm, Kenzo’s womenswear is poised for a bold, forward-looking transformation.
