Loewe’s ‘Crafted World’ exhibition to continue in Tokyo this spring
Loewe’s first large-scale exhibition, Crafted World, will continue in Tokyo this spring, celebrating the brand’s history, Spanish traditions, and craftsmanship. After its debut in Shanghai in 2024, the exhibition will open in Harajuku, Tokyo, in March 2025. Co-conceived with OMA, the exhibition traces Loewe’s evolution from its 1846 origins in leathercraft in Madrid to its rise as a global luxury brand. It highlights designs, collaborations, and cultural projects, including a film documenting the Ōnishi family’s 400-year tradition of making iron teapots in Kyoto. Works by Loewe Craft Prize finalists and artists from the Milan International Furniture Fair will also be showcased.
