According to data from online travel platform Mafengwo, there has been a 171% rise in searches for “Chinese New Year travel destinations” in the past week, with the Chaoshan and Fujian regions seeing significant growth. Popular small cities like Quanzhou, with its intangible cultural heritage activities, and Langzhong in Sichuan, which earned the title “Chinese Spring Festival Cultural Town,” are also drawing attention. Additionally, self-driving trips have become the preferred choice for families, with over 100% rise in related searches.
