L’Oréal acquires Korean skincare brand Dr G from Migros

L’Oréal Group will acquire the South Korean skincare brand Dr G from Gowoosesang Cosmetics Co, a subsidiary of the Swiss retail group Migros. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Dr G was founded in 2003 by dermatologist Gun Young Ahn. This marks L’Oréal's second acquisition of a South Korean beauty brand. L’Oréal stated that Dr G has long been one of South Korea’s top skincare brands and is now expanding its influence in Asia with significant growth potential globally. Dr G focuses on ingredients and offers a range of products targeting various skin concerns.
