Media reports that Bottega Veneta has chosen Carven Creative Director Louise Trotter to succeed Matthieu Blazy as its new creative director. Two weeks ago, sources indicated that Blazy, following Virginie Viard’s resignation, would take over as Chanel’s creative director. Blazy is set to depart Bottega Veneta in mid-December after a five-year tenure. Neither Bottega Veneta nor its parent company, Kering, has commented on the matter. Louise Trotter joined Carven in February 2023, with her first collection for the brand debuting at Paris Fashion Week last September. Prior to this, she spent four years at Lacoste.
