Golden Goose’s revenue climbs 12% as DTC sales surge
Italian luxury footwear brand Golden Goose reported 470 million euros ($513 million) in revenue for the first three quarters, up 12% YoY. Adjusted EBITDA rose 11% to 160 million euros ($175 million), while operating profit increased 8% to 120 million euros ($131 million). Direct-to-consumer sales grew 18% to 350 million euros ($382 million), making up 74% of total revenue. Retail revenue rose 20%, with 17 new stores opened in cities like Mexico City, Bangkok, and Rome, while wholesale revenue fell 4%. Regionally, EMEA saw a 27% rise, the Americas contributed 38% of revenue, and Asia-Pacific revenue declined 9%, with signs of recovery in Q3. CEO Silvio Campara noted that an IPO is still on the agenda, pending market conditions.
