Balenciaga CEO Charbit tipped for YSL leadership

Global luxury fashion group Kering is considering appointing Cedric Charbit, the current CEO of Balenciaga, as the new head of Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), replacing Francesca Bellettini. The official announcement is expected next week. Charbit, 47, will work alongside Anthony Vaccarello to further enhance YSL’s feminine aesthetic and innovative designs. Bellettini, who has been instrumental in guiding YSL through challenging times, will transition to a deputy CEO role at Kering, focusing on brand development. Additionally, Kering has made other executive changes, including appointing former LVMH executive Stefano Cantino as CEO of Gucci.
