Uniqlo shifts to larger format stores in China

Uniqlo will change its strategy for new store openings in China by replacing smaller, less profitable locations with larger stores in better locations, the company announced yesterday. At the same time, Uniqlo will further integrate its physical store and e-commerce operations, strengthening local store management by developing and nurturing talent with management capabilities. Currently, Uniqlo has over 920 stores in the Chinese market.
